A very productive day, but no words.

I spent the morning, afternoon, and evening with family. As such, there wasn’t much time for writing, and that was OK.

Had to make a tough decision today…

My cover designer delivered the cover for Project Author Income this morning, and he killed it. This will be, hands-down, the funniest cover I’ve ever done. I’ll be able to announce it tomorrow.

Also, my designer for Project Atlas FINALLY sent me all of the illustrations. This was a very big deal because she’s a month behind schedule. I had to give her the time she needed, so I spent quite a bit of time looking at maps. Had to be done. She’ll be done this weekend, I hope. But we’re in the final stretch now. Project Atlas will be the final Beast Mode book.

I also booked myself for a Black Friday promo. Write Publish Profit 2.0 by Infostack. I worked with Cary Richards and his team last year, and it was a great event. Stay tuned for Black Friday.

Anyhoo…sometimes when you travel, you don’t get anything done. Other times, you get more done than you thought would be possible. You roll the dice.

On my last trip, I wrote a LOT (a lot is a couple thousand words, which is a feat when you’re traveling). On a trip to Washington, D.C. a few years ago, I might have written almost 7,000 or 8,000 words (on my phone). You never know unless you try!

You gotta keep swinging, no matter what happens. At the end of this trip, I’ll have around 500-750 words to show for it, and that’s something.

I hit the road tomorrow, so I’ll use the time to get as many words in as I can since I’ll be in the backseat!

Also, my video today was very well-received. I talk about overcoming fear and self-doubt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjGqOTMzra0
