1566 words today. I’m happy with it. Project Author Income is shaping up nicely. It’s a rather cerebral book, so I’m taking my time to flesh out my arguments and making sure it is practical and easy to follow. That requires lower word counts than in the past.
Project Author Income will definitely be done this coming week, but I don’t know when. It’s a wandering book, so I’m going where it leads me. I’ve been jumping around quite a bit, and I’ve been writing chapters out of order, which is always interesting.
I surpassed the 10,000-word mark today, so I am amending the total in the Status column slightly. More words is always a good thing!
In other news, I FINALLY finished my final review of Project Writing Tips and sent it to my editor. She should have it completed by end of the week. This one’s 52,000 words so it’s the biggest beast mode book so far.
I received more illustrations from my designer for Project Atlas. She’s doing great. The map she sent me today made me smile. Can’t wait to show this to the world, but it’s going to take a few more days, if not a week or two more. She’s only halfway done.
I battled issues with my Michael La Ronn website today. A plugin I use is causing major problems so I had to shut it off. I don’t like to do that, but I have a lot of traffic coming to my site these days and I can’t afford to have broken links. Huge thank you to the readers who reached out and let me know about the website issues—if it weren’t for you nice folks, I wouldn’t have known for weeks, maybe months.
My wife gifted me a new planner so I look forward to digging into that over the next few days. It’s the Full Focus Planner by Michael Hyatt. I’m a big fan of Michael’s and I’ve been following him for years. His planner does not disappoint.
Anyway, today was a progress day. I moved a lot of things forward, and that’s what matters.
