Just had one of those “Wait, what? Huh? Oh…DAMN that's AWESOME!!!” kind of customer service moments.

I signed up for a course a few weeks ago to learn how to do my Alexa Flash Briefing with Teri Fisher—Alexaincanada.ca. Super cool course, and Teri is a chill guy. Very authentic and genuine.

I got an email in my inbox a few days ago that said “Teri has recorded a personal message for you.” I thought it was spam so I ignored it. A couple days later, morbidly curious, I watched it, and sure enough, it actually was a personal video. He addressed me by name and said welcome, let me know any questions, etc. Very basic, but it sure was pretty cool. I could even respond to the message, which I did.

It's funny because I was just talking about responding to your fans/customers a couple days ago.

I was impressed by it, and might consider doing this for future courses/Patreon subscribers/etc.

If any of you are interested in Alexa and voice technology, Teri is one to follow. His course is a master class in how you can easily record something of value with no budget. The course is literally him in a hotel room (I think) talking to a camera. All in one take, to bat. 🙂

How would you respond if someone sent you a personal video after you bought something from them?
